This is an authentic, Vintage map of the Caribbean island of Martinique which was created by Jean Alexandre Buchon and published in 1825. It appeared in French edition of Cary & Lea’s Atlas and offers a rich description of Martinique’s many geographical features and settlements. The map is surrounded by text, which provides exposition of the island’s geography, climate, population, government, industry and religion.

Condition: Map is in A+ condition with a vertical centerfold.. 18 x 24 inches (45.72 x 60.96 cm).
