1921 Carte Generale de L'Italie Ancienne

Size Guide
By: Adrienne Hubert Brue
Date: March 1821 (dated) Paris
Original Size: 20 x 14 inches
This is a fine reproduction of Brue's striking map of Italy, originally published out of Paris in 1821.
It is a very beautifully engraved map with very fine topographic detail throughout. This informative map shows all of Italy and includes Sicily, Corsica, Sardinia, the Adriatic Coast, Switzerland and the Empire of Austria. Two inserts of both Rome and the area surrounding the city can be found in the top right portion of the map. Various counties and epmires are identified with fine hand coloring.
Surrounding the map is Brue's distinctive keyboard-style border.
