This is a fine print reproduction of a decorative view of the city of Cairo is one of the only non-European city views from the important town book of the 16th century "Civitatus Orbis Terrarum" by Georg Braun and Fans Hogenberg. The view presentes elaborate detail throughout which include fortified walls, labeled places, numerous cavalry, and costumed figures.
